Award Capital employs a strategic approach to protect against unforeseen challenges by embracing Asymmetric Risk/Reward principles. This means seeking out investment opportunities with a favorable five-to-one ratio, where the potential upside is five times greater than the downside.

For instance, consider five investments, each valued at 1 million. Even if four of them yield zero returns, and we lose 4 million, the successful fifth investment will generate 5 million in profit, effectively offsetting the losses and leaving us with a 1 million net gain. By focusing on opportunities with a 5-to-1 ratio, even hitting on just two of these investments would result in a 10 million profit, despite being wrong 60% of the time. While a 1-to-5 ratio is the ideal investment scenario, many investments provide a favorable 3-to-1 ratio, further supporting our risk management strategy.
